June 26, 2011- A JOYFUL day indeed, for me!!! Watched KFEST: Prejudging Event at SM Megamall alone, not literally since my dad waited for me outside. Btw, It was fun to attend another KPOP event because I've got to see some of my favorite cover groups as well as my "favorite people". :)) After ahwhile, I joined in Nics' group (Synchro) because I felt gloomy since I was "fangirling" alone. Then Ate Steph and Kuya Pipo came. Picture here and there. After the event, I was keen enough to approach my "crushie", Jethro Paguio from X Crew!!! Oh my gosh, as in ASDFGHJKL =))))) (sorry for the informal blog). I enthusiastically approached him and gave him my present, a hand-written poem, a letter, and the fansign that I made for him as a favor for Nics' video for Jethro. Jet's friend was nice enough to take a picture so I had a snapshot with my crushie. During that entire moment, I felt my heart beating so fast as if it's gonna explode, sounds cliche and exaggerated but it's true. At least, even I was upset, he made go home with a sweet smile and oh, the picture is currently my profile picture on Facebook. Way to go, fangirl!!!

At the expo, ELFs had caused a whole lot of trouble because they wanted the free tickets. they caused a stampede, bashed the guards, people got hurt, 2 died, and this all happened AT the expo, where people all over the world could see. Right after wowers knew of this incident, they started saying bad things about ELF. vids were put up, the blogposts from the guards, and they even dug up those bashful comments some ELF said about zhoumi and henry. Also, they dug up a lot of the old news about ELF and SJ and the ELF rebutted, arguing back, which just got them pissed even more. They say that they are scolding chinese for their korean oppas. the bombing of sj bar started…may 30th? than next day spreaded to individual bars, excluding hankyung’s because he is chinese.

At first only some wowers were involved,but after seeing what some ELF said about wowers, many others joined. now two more bars are going to be involved in the bombings. the bombing of the baidu bars will not stop just cuz its limited to member only comments many ELF baidu accounts hv been hacked, but the administrators can block their IPs eventually, but some managed to hack baidu,so ive got no idea whats gonna happen next. so originally, the whole thing was targeting the ELF but some who joined later got confused and started attacking sj.

Yesterday sj official web got paralysed for around 3 hours because of the spammage and now they somehow found out about soribada and their twitter accounts and decided to spam those instead, as both ELF and SJ would see that.

Unplanned Underwater Adventure

April 1, 2010 -- My nephew's 11th birthday. It's today actually. We went to my auntie house. (Actually I'm making my blog entry here at their house.) We dropped by at the nearby swimming pool to check my nephew swimming together with his classmates. All my relatives came over there to swim as well. They insisted that I should go swimming with them. I refused because I have no clothes with me. But due to their persuasion, I jumped off the pool, not thinking the consequences after. So I left the pool wet with pool water. Yet, it was fun to swim with my cousins. :)

My 2010 Summer Plan

Loads of summer plan has been on my mind for this year's summer vacay. I've been wanting to do all these fun-filled activities just to beat the boredom of summer and so not to waste the time left for a month vacation since as an incoming Senior High, we need to prepare for the NCAE exams.

Here are some of my plans to rock the summer vacay and I hope I would be able to accomplish everything. (*fingers crossed*):

1.) My friend and I are planning to attend a Basketball clinic for Girls as soon as she comes back from Marikina.
2.) Been wanting to play Volleyball to enhance my skills *ehem!* with my friends. HAHA! :))
3.) Attend a Journalism Workshop to improve my wit in writing , and it will serve as my preparation since I'm planning to take BA Journalism in college. :)
4.) Read more books to relieve stress caused by daily anxieties in life, and also to enrich my soul.
5.) Have a DVD Marathon. Lately, I've been noticing that I'm starting to be a hopeless romantic so probably I'll be watching romantic movies this Summer.
6.) Learn how to rock the guitar and drums.
7.) Watch gigs of my favorite bands like Chicosci, Sandwich, Callalily, and Urbandub. It's been a while since I last watched a gig.
8.) Go Biking with my friends.
9.) Get in touch with my friends even though it's summer, not just through SMS or YM, but also in personal as well.
10.) Make my own scrapbooks for those unforgettable, shared memories with family and friends.
11.) Learn the art of graphic design and editing.
12.) Update my wardrobe for a newer styles of clothes and shoes.
13.) Hopefully, We'd go swimming or go on an outing.
14.) Revamp my room by giving it a new look.
15.) Lastly, update my socio-networking sites like Facebook, Multiply, Blog, Tumblr, Plurk, Twitter, YouTube and YM! as often as I can. :)

So much for my rockin' summer plans. :)

Science Week , Manuscript , Projects ..

Tons of works to do . So much for being a Junior HS student .

First ,
The students are now very busy because of the upcoming Science Week which will happen on the 22th to 25th of September , 2009. The most awaited event is the Binibining Agham . Each section needs to choose a representative to showcase a manually made dress made from ecycled materials like paper . In that case, Sandra is our binibining agham . A while ago, some of my classmates were busy making her casual and formal wear .

Second,
We, the members of the Journalism Club , are busy preparing for the upcoming newsletter of the manuscript. We had typed all the articles to be printed , as well as the layout .

Lastly,
Projects ! Since the 2nd Quarter was very short , projects are now being given to us , Math , Values , Social Studies .. Haix ! I need to finish it all especially the Math which involvs Tangrams . Whew !

Nutrition Month .

STCJA held an annual Nutrition Month. On its 35th year, the theme of this year's nutrition month was "Wastong Nutrisyon Kailangan, Lifestyle Diseases Iwasan". The said event held five contest: Poster/Slogan Making, Essay Writing, Fruit Arrangement, Cooking, and Jingle Contest. The event ran from the July 28-31, 2009.

Apparently, we didn't won the Cooking, Jingle, and Poster/Slogan. We got 2nd place in Fruit Arrangement(credits to Erica, Jan Mark and Charlene), and we placed first in essay writing(credits to Royce).

But we still do enjoy the contest. Though, it's a little bit frustating and disappointing, I know we still did our best. :)

Due to the event, our English teacher told us (the members of the Journalism Club) told us to write an article about the Nutrition Month. :)

Jingle Practice .

We had our practice a while ago for the Jingle Contest in the upcoming Nutrition Month. We practiced our steps for the Jingle. We're almost complete except for the fact that France and Jesa couldn't come. We were really exhausted because we've been practicing for like 10:00 am- 4:30 pm.

Eventhough classes were suspended today, we're still working on our Jingle routines. So much for that :P

We ate sumptuous meal at Mark's house since it's his auntie 40 days of death (Am I right with the term?). Anyways, the others ate lunch at Mcdonalds.

I celebrated my birthday last July 21, 2009. My actual birthday was on July 19, but because it's Sunday, I chose to celebrate it on July 17, but since the rain poured that day due to the typhoon, I just celebrated it on the 21st since on the other days, we'll be very busy.

We ate at Mcdonalds'. I, together with Bea, Camille, Erica, Mark, Jesa, Solena, Sonam, Sandra, Kana, Jan Mark, Aldrin, Dae, Kleo, and Jao :)

We ate Cheeseburgers, French Fries and a glass of Sprite. Then, as usual, we had a picture taking session. Ha-ha-ha :D

Hassle yet fun =)

May 30, 2009 has been a very hassle day for me. I planned to shop for my school stuffs that day. We left our home at around 3:00 pm to head for SM North Edsa. I also planned to watch a Sony event... Sony Musikaraband which featured some of Sony-Bmg hottest bands like Callalily, Pupil, Duster, 6Cycle Mind, etc. Then the rain cascaded thus causing traffic jam in Edsa (err!). Afterwards, my dad instructed me to call Kuya Sonny (our mechanic) ‘coz he was having difficulties with the brake of the car. Then they talked and my dad fixed the brake. He finished at around 5:00 pm. Next thing we did, we headed straight to SM North Edsa because I thought the event has just started. We arrived there at 5:20 pm. We parked at Trinoma. It’s even traffic in the overpass (gawd!). We went directly to The Block then The Main Mall but we couldn’t find the event. L Last stop: The Annex. I thought it looks like The Block. Anyway, we searched for it until we reached the Amphitheater on the 4th floor. We weren’t able to see the event but we saw another one: Radio Music Awards by some of there radio stations namely Max FM, 99.5 RT, etc. Aurora was about to start performing so we stopped and decided to watch, we were standing when suddenly I looked at my dad’s back when I realized there was this young man standing on his back: it was no other than my favorite solo singer: Miguel Escueta! OMG! But I couldn’t look at him, I’m afraid he might caught me :P .. So much for that :P haha. :D Then he entered the standby room. Then he went out again. I saw him going towards another direction maybe he’s going to the CR somewhere. Then he performed and we seated. I “video-ed” his performance of My Only Hope since I love that song :) . Then I took photos of him. He sang Handa (my theme song), My Only Hope, Falling Away, Blue Monday, and Balik Simula. After his performances, we decided to shop but I wanted to take a photo with him so badly but my dad said “halika na!” =’( But I’m looking forward to seeing him soon and took a picture with him :P So much for fan girl. Haha.

Maybe this is a happy day for me. I felt relieved. Well, my day starts with waking up at 12:30 nn. I ate "sinigang na isda" well, that's one of my favorite viand, i guess. I watched A Very Special Love again.. For the third time, haha :)) But I'm not a fan of "Sarah-John Lloyd" team up. I just felt my inner senses brought me in front of the tv to watch a movie on Cinema One. Then Mark called me up to remind me that I need to get online (YM) so I log in at around 5:45 pm. Then we decided to have a conference with Camille and Erica. I finally told Camille and Mark my huge problem (Erica knew it since I told it to her earlier), and what they came up with: They agreed to help me out, no I mean, they offered their help in tracing that girl.. (oh long story) but we end up unsuccessfully, gawd. but we had "fun" haha :)) That's when I felt my friends are there for me through rough times. I love BECARIMALENEZA :))

Most of the time, we lose self-confidence, trust in ourselves, and spirit to do what we really want. We always live with what most people say, with what they expect us to do or what they want for us. Sometimes, we need to set our dreams free because of what other might think or say. But one thing for sure, we always regret in setting it free so to avoid regrets, we must make other people understand what we like and stand for it, never lose hope because it's a chance of a lifetime ;) So, we need to encourage ourselves to be the best person we can be.

Why am I saying this?
Because a friend said this to me :

Adam vs. Kris

America has decided. Another history has been made. The newest American Idol was already crowned.. hence the name of the newest Idol goes by... Kristopher Neil "Kris" Allen, a 23 year old guy from Conway, Arkansas.

The Idol Journey.

Adam Mitchel Lambert. Born on the 29th day of January, 1982. He grew up in Rancho Peñasquitos, San Diego, California. He has been a stage actor since he was about ten years old. His audition piece was Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody". During the entire season, he was always praised by the judges. He was even given a standing ovation by Simon Cowell for his rendition of "Mad World" during thre Top 8 week. In his Top 4 performance, Simon Cowell defined his own interpretation of"Whole Lotta Love" (Cowell: That was one of my favourite performances.. Nobody can top that now.). During the Top 2 performance:

Simon Fuller's Choice: Sam Cooke's "A Change is Gonna Come".

Allen's quiet advancement to the last stages of the finals prior to the show had began referring by the media to Allen as "Dark Horse". In the Top 11, his take of Grand Ole Opry's "To Make You Feel Love", Simon commented: "I am genuinely beginning to think you have a shot of doing well in this competition". Simon even slated to some of his performances in the Top 9 and Top 7 (Bill Withers' Ain't No Sunshine and Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova's Once., respectively), "Best performance so far" and "Kris, you were brilliant" . The show kicked off with performances by Fergie, The Black Eyed Peas, David Cook, Steve Martin, Rod Stewart, Lionel Richie, Jason Mraz, Queen, Kiss, Cyndi Lauper, among others. The Top 13 had their respective numbers with some of name slated above. On their last number, they sang Queen's "We are the Champions". Then Allen was hailed as the newest American Idol succeeding David Cook. Thus, making Lambert the season's runner up. In the ending credits, the new winner sang "No Boundaries".

Though I'm rooting for Adam Lambert, well, the America has spoken, in favor of Kris Allen. Though he's not the one I'm wishing for to take the title of the newest idol, I think Kris gave his best shot and has exemplify to the public his immense aptitude in singing.

But Adam never fails to show his own style in singing. He continued to wow the judges with his unbelievable voice and vocal range. Thus, praised by Cowell, as a "star".

"Oh my God" was all I can say when I learned that David Cook (my idol) will have a concert here in Manila, not just that, It's a back to back show with David Archuleta! =) I was really hoping to be there in the most awaited event of the summer. Late last year, rumors began circulating that Cook will have a concert here in the "Music Capital of Asia" on January 2009 but was postponed due to schedule conflicts.

Early life facts:
David Roland Cook. Born on the 20th day of December, 1982. He was born on Houston, Texas but was raised in Blue Springs, Missouri. Second in the brood of three children of Beth Frye and Stanley Cook.

Looking back on his Idol journey, it started when he accompanied his younger brother, Andrew to audition in the 7th Season of American Idol, but his brother kept on persuading him to try his luck as well. So, he tried, and luckily, he passed the audition. But unfortunately, his brother didn't make it. During the entire contest, he was one of the early favorites, particularly, the undisputed Idol judge Simon Cowell, because of his distinct voice and sound, this rocker became even more popular because of his own take of Mariah Carey's "Always Be My Baby" which topped the charts as well as here in the Philippines. His rendition of Aerosmith's "I Don't Wanna Miss a Thing" was also a big hit. During the season's finale, it was David vs. David (Cook and Archuleta). He was crowned as the newest American Idol garnering over 56% of the total votes, or over 97 million votes, beating the 17 years old then David Archuleta . After he was proclaimed, he sang the winning song "Time of My Life" written by Regie Hamm. Late 2008, he released his self titled sophomore album that has his first single and the second one and the fourth (current) single "Light On" , "Come Back To Me" and "Permanent".

Going back to my craziness over David Cook, when his name was announced as the 7th Season winner, I was delighted.. ecstatic and overwhelmed but emotional at the same time. I was teary-eyed, probably because I was too connected and indulge to him.

I am a huge fan of David Cook, because I enjoy listening to rock bands since his soothing voice is "rockish", I easily appreciated and embrace his genre and breed of music.

Para din ndi msayang ang nalalabing time,
I'm spending my time writing..
Passion ko din nmn ang literature ee.

Plan ko din nmn kse may try na mag submit sa isang magazine.
Try ko lang yung luck ko..

My articles' topics are ranging from friendship to love to family.
Now, I'm enhancing my vocabulary skills

that's my dream..
